Miriam Serot-Shore

Born in Philadelphia in 1982, Miriam Serot-Shore studied journalism, worked as a veterinary technician, and owned a wedding cake company. In 2015 she graduated with honors from The University of the Arts with a BFA in Crafts, concentrating in small metals. Her jewelry has been exhibited at Moore college of Art and Design, UArts, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, University of Pennsylvania Museum, and SNAG Boston. Her writing has been published in Art Jewelry Forum, Edge magazine, and the UArts Hand-Eye catalog. After graduation Miriam moved to Rhode Island to design costume jewelry for a manufacturing company whose clientele included international department stores and designers. She is now working on her own line of fine craft jewelry and objects.
