Jane Dillon

Jane Dillon is a teacher, potter, and designer from Providence. After graduating from RISD, she apprenticed in San Francisco, then went on to grad school in Boulder, building a traditional 50 foot long anagama wood kiln on the way. She headed the ceramic program at the Appalachian Center for Crafts, bringing in artists to collaborate in new genres. Over the years she has taught students from age 6 to 90, from Mendocino, California to Cortona, Italy. Jane loves studio collaboration and continues to be inspired by the Steel Yard.
